Après la mort de sa femme, survenue vers cette épo-que, Michel Richard, épousa en secondes noces JeanneBabin, à peine âgée de 15 ans, fille dAntoine et de MarieMercier. JosephRichard est décédé en 1770 et fut enterré à Bécancour le2 février. Ce Joseph faisait partie du premier groupe desréfugiés acadiens de Bécancour. JOSEPH RICHARD Joseph Richard, fils de Joseph et de Françoise Cor-mier, né vers 1742, à Beaubassin, marié à Bécancour le 3janvier 1767 à Marie-Anne (Nanette) Boucher, fille de feuCharles et de Josette Pitre.
