Description
English: Encloses a memorial of John Forbes and Co. for Jefferson. If Graham cannot present it, Simpson requests that Graham have some respectable friend present it to the president. Forbes suspected, through his correspondence with General Dearborn, that those in government entertained an unfavorable impression of him and wanted to show Jefferson otherwise.
