| Description |
Deutsch: Handwerker der Abteilung Neu-Oege des Limburger Fabrik- und Hüttenvereins 1907 in Hohenlimburg. Die Firma geht auf eine 1619 gegründete Drahtrolle des Richters Wessel Lappenberg zurück. 1803 übernahm Gottfried Wilhelm Böing und gründete ein Hammerwerk mit Grob- und Feindrahtrolle im Langenkamp. Später Böing, Röhr und Sefsky. Nach der Umstellung 1846 in ein Puddelstahlwerk hieß die Firma ab 1856 Limburger Fabrik- und Hüttenverein. Ab 1906 wurde die Firma (500 Beschäftigte) vom Langenkamp auf das große neuerworbene Gelände in Neu-Oege verlagert. Im Jahre 1907 folgte der Zusammenschluss mit den Eisen- und Stahlwerken Hoesch in Dortmund. |
