Few other flowering shrubs are so attractive as thisfine acquisition from New Zealand, and when in bloomit can hardly be surpassed. So freely are the flowersproduced that at a short distance from the plant one ispuzzled to account for the striking snowy effect it pre-sents. Upon approaching close, the bush is found to beliterally covered with white flowers; forming a large,ball-like mass of white. Even when out of bloom thecompact bush with its ^^al, leathery, shining leaves,green above and white 3neath, presents a very hand-some appearance. No plant is more readily managed;it grows and blooms in almost every conceivable situa-tion and soil. Whether as a pot plant, or in the openborder, or as a specicnen upon the lawn, it invariablygives satisfaction. If planted in groups it presents abeautiful effect, covered with its thousands of flowers.Ea., 25c; 3 for 60c.

The popularity of the Rose is well shownby the increasing demand for them, year byyear. But there are still many who do notknow how easily this Royal Queen of Flow-ers may be grown, nor realize what delight-^ ful returns in beautiful flowers and buds may be obtained from^ them with such little trouble and at such a very slight cost. Thereis no great secret about the successful growing of Roses out-or-doors^* Indeed they may be grown with no greater trouble thanis expended upon other flowers provided only that proper varieties he selected. To aid our patrons we have selected, and offer in our general lists those varieties only which we know to bereliable in plant and beautiful in flower; and of the newer sorts,only those which we believe to be such, from careful enquiry andobservation. In fact, our lists contain the Cream of the Roses,of all kinds and classes. Please note that our R6ses are all upon their own roots.
