English: LC Civil War maps (2nd ed.), 304.66. Relief shown by hachures. Shows names of some residents. Covers area south of Chowan River, north of Neuse River, and east of Wilson, North Carolina. At head of title: Chief Engineers Office D.N.V., Maj. Gen. J.F. Gilmer, Chief Engineer. Shows roads, railroads, towns and villages, woodland, rivers and streams, and houses. Principal rivers are colored blue, and major roads are red. Inscribed in ink on verso: Map of the vicinity of Weldon, Goldsboro &c North Carolina. Wm. A. Obenchain, Capt., C.S. Engineers, 1864.
