| Transcript | Poldhu is the name of a small cove, on the western side of the Lizard Peninsula, which has become one of the best known places in Cornwall since the erection of Signor Marconi's wireless telegraphy station, the transmitting and receiving shafts of which are on the cliff summit overlooking the cove. From this point wireless communication is maintained with incoming and outgoing liners. |
