Description

English: Sailors attach a palcon filled with two tents to a single-point hook system on a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter assigned to "Iron Horse" of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 461 during "external" training, the lifting and transport of external cargo on the flight deck of the multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Wasp. Wasp is currently deployed on Southern Partnership Station-Amphib with Destroyer Squadron 40 and a Security Cooperation Marine Air-Ground Task Force embarked. Southern Partnership Station is part of the Partnership of the Americas Maritime Strategy that focuses on building interoperability and cooperation in the region to meet common challenges.
