Movement ofthe cam towards the setting necessaryto thread %-inch pipe brings the pins ontlie chasers marked B into the outerslot, thus throwing the chasers clearof the larger size pipe. Further move-ment of the cam plate in this directionmoves the pins in chasers B to the posi-tion shown by arrow while ttiechasers A remain unmoved on accountof the slot at arrow (%) being concen-tric. The clearance for the larger sizepipe is further assured by placing thepins on chasers B nearer the outsideend than those on chasers A. The pointer at D coincides with indi-cator marks on the top of cam. Theclamp at E is to hold the cam andchasers in position. A bearing plate isscrewed on above the cam and servesto take up all wear.
