English: Khedive of Egypt's Star 1882-91 five-pointed bronze star; suspension ring attached a straight laureated bar with crescent and a small five-pointed star at centre of bar; ribbon missing obverse- in centre the Sphinx with the three Great Pyramids behind; around this on a raised band, h is embossed EGYPT above and below- reverse- the Khedive’s monogram ‘T.M.’ surmounted by a crown within a raised band ribbon- blue-grey with a red stripe near each edge issued unnamed

Notes Khedive of Egypt's Star 1882-91 The stars were authorized by the Sultan of Turkey and conferred by the Khedive of Egypt, Tewfix Mahooed. Awarded to all involved in suppressing the Egyptian rebellion of 1882 and for the campaigns in Egypt and Sudan between 1884-1889.
