English: King's South Africa Medal 1899-1902 Medal awarded to 3263 Pte E Harmon, E. Lancashire Regiment silver medal; plain straight swivelling suspender; with ribbon two bars- SOUTH AFRICA 1901 - SOUTH AFRICA 1902 obverse- bust of King Edward VII and legend- EDWARDVS VII REX IMPERATOR reverse- Britannia with a flag in her left hand and holding out a laurel wreath in her right towards an advancing party of soldiers; in the background are two warships; the wreath in Britannia’s hand points to the letter ‘R’ in the word AFRICA; around the top are the words SOUTH AFRICA ribbon- green, white and yellow in equal widths named on edge- 3263 PTE. E. HARMON. E. LANC- REGT.
