Title
Medieval? copper alloy and gold hook
Description
English: Medieval? hook, 22mm long, 8mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 2.32 grams. The object consists of a hook which has a rectangular section and a slightly tapering 'point'. This sits above a domed circle which has a tapering shaft, with semi-circular section, emerging from the opposite side. The object has heavy traces of gilding along the circle and hook. It looks as though the pointed end is designed to fit inside or on top of something as its is completly flat on its reverse side.
