Medieval Single loop Buckle
Description
English: A complete copper alloy buckle dating to c.1250-1400. The buckle is oval in plan with moulded decoration at one end with two rectangular protrusions either side of the decoration. The opposite end has a rectangular pin attached by a loop. There is also part of the rectangular bar attached. The metal is green in colour and the object weighs 4.8g and measures 33.60mm in length and 15.35mm at its widest point. See Whitehead, R.
