Medieval ceramic vessel shard
Description
English: A sherd of a ceramic vessel from the wall of a vessel, probably of medieval date. The matrix is fine grained and orange in colour. It has a pitted surface with occasional dark grey and mica inclusions. There is a shallowly incised groove running vertically across one edge of the sherd. It is 37.7mm long, 37.1mm wide and 14.1mm thick. It weighs 17.26gm.
