Medieval copper alloy purse frame
Description
English: Fragment of a late medieval purse frame. The frame is formed by a curved L-shaped strip of copper-alloy, broken at one end across a circular hole that would have been used to secure the lining of the bag. The surface of the strip is decorated with a repeating pattern of criss-crossed lines.
