Title |
Medieval lead token |
||
Description |
English: A cast lead token, the obverse has a crude face which may be copying a Roman emperor. The reverse has a raised slender bird with a tail like a cockerel, also in profile below the lettering. It is unclear what the lettering may say. These tokens are not closely dated around c.1200-1700. |
