Medieval or post medieval lace tag
Description
English: A copper-alloy lace tag of medieval to post-medieval date. The object has been formed from a piece of sheet metal which has been rolled into a cone. The vertical seam is visible, but only above the two opposing rivet holes. It has a length of 20.80mm, width 8.52mm, thickness 3.90mm and a weight of 0.91g. It has a dark green glossy patina. For reference see the PAS database example BH-AEA0A0. It probably dates from 1300 – 1700.
