Title
medieval purse frame copper alloy
Description
English: Medieval copper alloy purse frame. The curved frame is L-shaped in section; the thinned side has two sewing holes through which the frame would have been sewn to the fabric of the purse. At the end of the frame the sides converge to a solid attachment loop. On the solid outer side of the frame there are traces of lattice work decoration.
