Title |
Medieval strap end |
||
Description |
English: Copper alloy lace tag or strap end dating to the late Medieval or early post-Medieval periods.
The lace tag is designed from one piece of metal folded over and shaped. There is evidence for a single rivet, no longer remaining. In plan, the tag is trapezoidal, with simple incised decoration in the form of lines. |
