English: Members of the Auxillary Security Force, Naval Station Ingleside, Texas train how to properly use handcuffs and various restraining techniques, April 16, 2003. ASF personnel are made up of volunteers from all units aboard a naval station or vessel and are primarily used to augment the embarked Master-at-Arms force or police force during heightened states of security. ASF volunteers receive two weeks of training provided by U.S.M.C. instructors and continually receive refresher training to keep theirskills and qualifications current.
