English: Processional chapel in Mettingen-Muckhorst, Kreis Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is listed as a cultural heritage monument.
Deutsch: Prozessionshäuschen an der Ecke Hügelstraße/Hansastraße in Mettingen-Muckhorst, Kreis Steinfurt, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Es ist eines der fünf Prozessionshäuschen (oder Prozessionskapellchen/Heiligenhäuschen) in der Gemeinde Mettingen. Errichtet im Jahr 1852, ist es Johannes dem Täufer gewidmet. Es hat folgende Inschrift: Ecce agnus dei Johanne. („Sehet, das Lamm Gottes.“) Als „Objekt der Volksfrömmigkeit“ steht es seit 1988 unter Denkmalschutz. Die Rotbuchen (Fagus sylvatica), die das Bauwerk umgeben, machten zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme keinen ganz gesunden Eindruck (dies kann jedoch mit dem Mastjahr 2011 zusammenhängen).
