Microburin
Description
English: Flint microburin, lozenge shaped in plan and splinter shaped in profile. The dorsal side has an off centre mesial ridge. The distal tip is retouched. The left margin is notched and the right serrated. The proximal end is part cortex. On the ventral side the distal tip is retouched.

The flint is semi translucent and tan and grey in colour with a tiny area of cream cortex.

Mercer (1981) illustrates a similar example on page 111, Fig. 49, No. L. 7 which is dated to the Mesolithic period.
