Description
English: Album cover with hand-inked writing. "Ratification by constitutional [illegible] by Missouri. Of the Pilgrim's Nov. 11. 1620, Magna Charter (Pact) of Civic government- Civic and religious freedom; of the Declaration of Independence; the Ordinance of 1787 Fremont, proclamation- Lincoln's Proclamation didn't and couldn't cover Missouri! Members of the 1865. Missouri State Constitutional Convention, That Abolished Slavery in Missouri Constituionatly [sic] Immediate and Unconstitutional, in 5 days on January 11th 1865. As the reason to [illegible] did, by the war of slavery and Revised the State Constitution. In Session Jan. 6, 1865, to Apl. 10th 1865. 78 days, Meanwhile Library small Hall. St. Louis adjourning the day after [illegible]." (written on page).
