The children of the Adamshousehold are Wm. Curtis. Lorena J., Walter B.,Earl J.. Louise E. and Ralph V. It will be seen in the foregoing brief review ofBurton S. Adams that his thirty years since he en-tered upon his professional career have been filledwith activities which count. A varied field has calledhim into service and his mark has been made uponboth continents of the Western Hemisphere. Hehas familiarized himself with his own country byexploring it where duty called, and he has mixedwith men of his profession who stand as monumentsto engineering achievement in the development of theNorthwest.
