Description
English: A complete, cast copper-alloy post-medieval mount with integrally cast rivet. The mount is leaf shaped in plan and convex. An exact parallel could not be found, however cast asymmetrical convex mounts with integral pointed lugs are dated to the 17th century AD. cf. Read. 2001. Vol 1. pp.28.
