English: Title: National emancipation monument

Abstract: Print shows a rendition by architects Bullard & Bullard of a national monument to emancipation proposed for Springfield, Illinois, showing an obelisk topped with a statue of a Union soldier, and with other statues at the base of the obelisk, including one of Abraham Lincoln, and at the corners of the platform. Physical description: 1 print : lithograph ; sheet 49.2 x 35.7 cm.
