Friar, one of the most beautiful of the newer Sweet Peas ;
color, rich watered purple on white ground. The flowers
are borne on top of the plants, which branch f reelj^ and
bloom abundantly, and the seeds should be planted so as
to make a close, even, hedge-like row. As this beautiful
new variety requires no trellis or support, it can be grown
everywhere with other flowers. Scarcely any flowers are
easier to grow or more highly valued than sweet peas, and
all lovers of choice new flowers should give the New Bush
Sweet Pea a liberal trial this season. Price per pkt., 20
seeds, 5 cts.; oz. 15 cts.
NEW CLIMBING DOLICHOS "DAYLIGHT "--From Japan
Every one who has seen this beautiful Climbing Dolichos in full bloom must admit that it is one of the prettiest annual
climbers they ever saw. It does well trained to a post or trellis 8 to 10 feet high, and literally covers itself with lovely
snow white, pea-like flowers ; it continues to bloom until killed down by hard frost. The flowers are followed by large,
creamy-white pods, having a rich waxen appearance, which adds to the beauty of the vine. It is really a charming
climber, blooms quickly, and can be depended on to give immense satisfaction to all. Price per pkt. 8 cts.
NEW CLIMBING DOLICHOS "DARKNESS "-From Japan
This is a most fitting companion for the "Daylight," described above. As the flowers are of a dark violet color and borne
in large clusters, followed by pretty crimson seed pods, most people will want both varieties, as they contrast finely

together, and are among the most beautiful annual climbers we have. Pkt: 8 cts. The two varieties for 15 cts
