DescriptionNewly formed color guard to present colors at every port during SPMAGTF-South deployment 140715-M-PC317-055.jpg |
English: Sergeant Louwan Brake, second from left, administrative clerk with 1st Reconnaissance Battalion and Color Sergeant for Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South, trains a newly formed color guard aboard the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), July 14, 2014. Brake, a native of Coatesville, Pa., and a graduate of Coatesville Senior High School, will present the colors during port visits as the ship transits around South America. The America transit is a clear example of Navy-Marine Corps integration in action. Ships like the America are what provide the Navy-Marine Corps team the ability to be the right force, in the right place at the right time. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Christopher J.
