English: Chief Kojun Chibana, back center, speaks to guests Feb. 20 during an award ceremony at the Okinawa City Police Station, Prefectural Police Department, Okinawa City, Okinawa. The ceremony awarded members of the U.S. military, U.S. Department of Defense personnel and the Okinawa City Police Department for their services and assistance in keeping Okinawa safe throughout the year. “You have shown a deep understanding of police activities and cooperated with police in the solution of various types of incidents and accidents in 2014,” said Chibana. “I hereby take great pleasure in presenting this letter of appreciation along with a commemorative memento as a token of our sincere gratitude.” Chibana is the assistant commissioner chief with the Okinawa City Prefectural Police Department. |
