A wide brimmed hat pushed way back on his head forms a halo around his head. He also wears a bandana tied about his neck, a shirt, vest, and jacket with decorative stitching. His dark face is framed with tufts of white hair. He has a short sparse white moustache beard. Part of an adobe dwelling is visible behind him.
