Description
English: USS Carter Hall Commanding Officer Cmdr. George Doyon says farewell to Deputy Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command Vice Adm. Peter H. Daly, prior to Daly departing the ship after a visit Feb. 17. The amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall is on station in Haiti along with the multi-purpose amphibious assault landing ship USS Bataan and the amphibious dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry as the Bataan Amphibious Relief Mission in support of Operation Unified Response, a joint operation providing military support capabilities to civil authorities to help stabilize and improve the situation in Haiti following a 7.0 magnitude earthquake that devastated the island nation.
