English: CHICAGO (May 29, 2004)- (Left to Right) Coast Guard Admiral Robert Papp, Petty Officer Second Class Paul Blanton, Petty Officer Second Class Michael Fink, Petty Officer First Class Richard Clark, Petty Officer Second Class Jason Kiddey, Petty Officer Third Class Kevin Buchheit, Petty Officer Third Class Anthony Medina, Ensign Antonio Valentin and Colonel James Hickey pose for a photo at Chicago's Navy Pier. All were in Chicago participating in the annual Chicago Memorial Day Parade. Papp is the Commander of the Ninth Coast Guard District which covers the Great Lakes region. Hickey is the commander of the 1st Brigade ?Raiders?, 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized) stationed at Fort Hood, Texas and led the troops that captured Saddam Hussein. Medina, Clark, Valentin, Kiddey, Fink, Blanton and Buchheit are all members of Coast Guard Port Security Unit 309 stationed in Port Clinton, Ohio. |
