English: (1 in a multiple picture set)
This, Panorama Point, is one of my favorite spots in Redlands. Built by the town's founders, the Smiley Brothers, it was to give prospective settlers a view of our wonderful valley. It still does this today. We almost lost it to a housing tract developer, but the Redlands citizens were able to have it set aside. Almost in the middle of the picture is Cajon Pass. The San Gabriel Mountains and Mt. Baldy are on the left. On the right is the eastern slope of the San Bernardino Mountains. Between them is the Cajon Pass.
