fessor^. A. Hagberg i Lund, med uppgift, att det skulle föreställa hansfar, och å porträttets baksida finnes antecknadt: D:r Hagberg. Här meddelas för jämförelses skull en fotografi af det ifråga-varande porträttet jämte en fotografi af ett annat miniatyrporträtt,som finnes inom släkten, föreställande min farfar. De både minia-tyrporträtten visa ju sinsemellan en tydlig likhet med hvarandra,och det är ju otänkbart, att det inom min släkt skulle finnas tväolika miniatyrporträtt, som båda gått under namn af att föreställamin farfar, under det att de i stället föreställa biskop Franzén.Det förefaller mig också otroligt, att det s. k. Franzénska porträtteti Wijkska samlingen och det i min ägo skulle föreställa olika per-soner, ty likheten dem emellan är alltför slående. t Theodor Hagberg. örstoradt miniatyrporträtt, sign. »Gillberg 1809*enligt uppgift föreställande pastor primarius Carl Peter Hagberg. t I t Olof Palme. I Svenska brigadens led vid Tammerfors den ödesdigra mor-gonen 3 april slöt OLOF Palme sitt korta men innehållsrika lif.Därmed bröts i förtid en forskarbana, som genom de frukterden redan burit gaf rätt att hoppas mycket för vår svenska histo-rieskrifning. - Om de starka motiv, som — midt under det ifrigastudiet för hans blifvande doktorsspecimen, hvilket skulle behandladen tragiska upplösningen af Hertig Karls kamp med de svenskarådsherrarne — dref honom att ställa sig i de frivilligas led, är härej platsen att orda. I talrika tidningsartiklar och småskrifterhar han häfdat sin tro på »det samfällda och oförytterliga arf»,som det historiska sambandet mellan Sverige och Finland förhonom utgjorde, och därmed följande ansvar.
