f the steamer Lady of theLake, which plies between Enniskillen and Castle Caldwell inconnection with circular tours from Bundoran, etc., from June 1stuntil September 14 (week days only). Even when viewed underthese conditions, however, the lough impresses most visitors withsome of its loveliness ; but it can only be seen at its best by thosewho thoroughly explore its numerous bays, sail among its manyislands, and closely inspect its shores, and the several places andobjects of interest thereon. Then, and then only, one discovershow the charms and beauty of the Irish Windermere fascinatethose who live near it and such visitors as may have explored it,and realises why, to them, it is invariably known as lovely ENNISKILLEN. 131 Lough Krnc. The grandeur oC Glenveagh or Alton burst uponone suddenly ; the immense expanse of Lough Erne alone is quiteagainst any such sudden realisation of the whole of its beauty,but careful exploration proves it to be an endless feast of lovelylousfh scenery.

There are two first-class hotels. The Royal and TheImperial, both of which are admirably conducted and replete withevery comfort : omnibuses from these hotels meet every train.Motor garage and storage for bicycles at each hotel. Repairs tomotors and cycles are executed by competent workmen at Messrs.J.
