English: Pincushion that belonged to Emma Jane Weston, circa 1880 square padded pincushion; velvet and silk and beading; top piece of velvet is creamish colour with centre dyed royal blue; centre piece surrounded with beaded motifs of grapes and grape vine leaves; small beads of clear glass, metal; bunches of grapes of artificial pears; edged with clear and white beads with tasselled beaded loops (most of beads now missing); underside of creamish coloured silk with royal blue stains. Part of a collection of articles brought to New Zealand in 1884 by Mrs. S Gifford (nee Emma Jane Weston).
