English: German double barrel flare pistol, WW2 (parachute) flare pistol, double side-by-side barrels; 26.6mm calibre; two-handed pistol; steel and (mainly) aluminium with 85% anodising finish; two-piece wooden grips to pistol grip and wooden foregrip; on body at rear of each chamber small spring-loaded pin that protrudes out of the body when chamber is loaded by pressing on the base of the flare cartridge when the action is closed, therefore if the pins are not closed beyond the body fitting denotes that there is no flare cartridge in the chamber markings- two Nazi proof markings on top of barrels and two on left hand side of frame with swastika and eagle serial number on left hand side of frame- 532 on left hand side of frame within rectangular border- eeu manufacturer's code or year on left side of frame- 43 also marked by safety catch- SICHER and FEUER top rear of body selector lever marked- L; R top rear of body- Doppel - Schuss Maker- unknown, Germany, 1943
