Colgan percussion pistol, circa 1840 Waterford, Ireland Probably made by Colgan for the Birmingham gun trade Note- this gun maker is associated with George Colgan, Gun Maker of Wakefield Street, Auckland, who is listed as a gun maker in the 1860s, and is possibly the same person as George Colgan who had a business in Glebe, NSW in the 1850s.
