English: Pinfire single shot pistol, circa 1860s-1880s .358 inch calibre (9.1mm); shot-gun type loading drop and lock action; shallow rifling to barrel; concealed folding trigger; small; body engraved with flower design; engraved grip (Belgian or French designs); butt broken with screw loose; held together with string; action at fault; chip to top right of pistol grip adjoining body markings- maker's number on internal locking stud of underlever and top of underlever- 2 on body under barrel on right hand side- BOISSY no visible proof marks or manufacturer’s name maker- unknown (French), circa 1860s-1880s
