Description |
English: Four of Spades playing card from a pack of transformation playing cards. Female figure and child depicted in outline, the woman seated on a stool at right with a small child standing on her lap. The woman wears a long dress and a head scarf, the black symbol of the spade covers her face. A few facial features are indicated, depicting a stereotypical black mammy figure. The spade at left is integrated with the boy's image so that it appears as a hat. The two spades below form the cut-out decoration in two stools. |
