Description
English: Copper Alloy possible Buckle Plate. Thick (c.2.5mm) rectangular strip of copper alloy sheet of width c.15.5mm, folded lengthwise in half with an apparent slot or aperture at the fold. The object is bubbled with ancient and recent active corrosion, probably exacerbated by fire. Suggested date: Unknown, Early Medieval to Late Medieval, 500-1500.

Length: 44.9mm, Width: 18.7mm, Thickness (overall): 5.1mm, Weight: 16.23gms.
