Title
Post-Medieval or Early Modern bowl of lead pipe (smoking)
Description
English: Late Post-Medieval or Early Modern fragment of a cast lead pipe - possibly for smoking although there are no traces of burned tobacco or smoldered walls inside the bowl. Heel and lower part of bowl are decorated with raised dots and this decoration is separated from the upper half of the bowl with an arched motif. The top half of the bowl is plain with an initials stamp [B? R] set above the stem. It is possible that the 'pipe' never had a stem, as the edges around where the stem would have broken off looks like it was moulded/designed that way.
