Post-medieval to Modern : Toy
Description
English: An incomplete cast lead toy of late post-medieval to modern date. The toy is in the form of a horse with mounted rider though the riders head, horses tail and legs are now missing.

The rider sits on the horse leaning slightly forwards with one hand holding the reigns of the horse and the other resting on his hip. The figure is wearing a shirt, long trousers, knee high riding boots and is seated in a saddle beneath which is a blanket.

The metal has a mid yellowish-brown colour and is worn. The toy is 26.4mm long, 22.3mm wide, 3.7mm thick and weighs 6.5g.
