| Description |
English: Part of Post Medieval ceramic brick probably dating from the late 16th to 17th century. The brick is handmade by clay being pushed into a mould leaving characteristic lenses in the clay. Its size is similar to a standard brick size introduced in a charter of 1571, and it has no frog. These were first introduced in about 1690. However, it may not be a standard size so it could date from other parts of the Post Medieval period. |
