Title
Post Medieval copper alloy, possibly a mount
Description
English: Copper alloy coin, probably a copy of a Roman nummus of Magnentius, dating to the period AD 351 to 353 (Reece Period 18). Reverse type probably VICTORIAE DD NN AVG ET CAE(S) Two Victories holding shield inscr VOT V MVLT X; no supporting column. Cf probably LRBC II. 5ff of AD 351-3.

The diameter is 17mm and the weight 2.84g.

Obverse inscription was meant to be [D N MAGNENTIVS P F AVG] and the reverse inscription is meant to be [VICTORIAE D D N N AVG ET CAE] VOT V [MVLT X] in shield. It is a rather poor copy, and somewhat corroded and damaged.
