Post Medieval possible cannon ball
Description
English: A lead alloy possible cannon ball from a small cannon such as a Falconet or Serpentine, but the ball is not a standard size or mass. The ball is sub-spherical, oval in section. One face is smooth and rounded but the other side is jagged and possibly broken with angular fractures and fissures in the metal. It has a mass of 306g which is 10 and 3/4 oz, and a diameter of 48mm or 1.9 inches.
