The last one you remember Your old dad was in May Morn camp so this is another one. Your old dad is a way from you and Mum but Sonie I hope you have a good time but dont forget your Dad somewhere in France and my dear boy if they let me stay where I am I will be all right, for I am a good way from the Trenches but we will have frost and Snow over hear and it will be very hot in old Auckland. Now goodbye my dear boy wishing you and Mum and baby a Merry Christmas I remain your loving Father F.S.W.”
