en held at which re-ligious topics have been discussed, and also the regular platform meetings havetaken place, where opportunities were offered to hear well known speakers, delega-tions from schools and colleges and missionaries from foreign fields. The Bible andDiscussion Groups, with an interesting program of topics, were well attended byabout two hundred students. Phillips Academy, under the auspices of the Society of Inquiry, sent a delega-tion last June to the Blairstown Conference, at which men from all the preparatoryschools in the East were present. All of the Andover men took an active part inthe work, and many effective plans were formed. The delegation was composed ofMr. Dumont Clarke of the faculty, P. Wilson, E. Greene, R. Sears, J. Lucas, T.Richardson, C. Bartlett, E. Trazel, P. Dudley and M. Hansen. R. H. Utterarp THE literary road to fame was shunned somewhat by the class of 1920 in itsfirst years; partly because war closed the way temporarily, partly becausethe class seems to have been squeamish about adopting literary vagabon-dage. The first wayfarer from our class to make and gain the Phillipian as his end,was Bob Colgate; Dick Sears and Murrey Tyler followed at the close of the year.The next year, Ferdy Davis, J. P. Kohler, Lowell Comfort, and Gus Ledyard wereadded. Tyler was elected Managing Editor for our Senior year In the Fall, theaddition of Martin Bovey, Charlie Little, and Otto Whitelock completed our con-tribution to the editorial staff. Al Keith was Business Manager for the Fall and apart of the Winter term, succeeded by Frank Crosby during the remainder of theyear. On the Mirror, the first of our class was Marshall Allaben; Vogelgesang andWoody Fellows followed; with George Lacey as Assistant Business Manager thesecomposed the nucleus about which the Mirror of 1919 to 19
