We sitat them and learn to read and write. There are five in our class. We donot all have books as you have. Our teacher hears us read in turn. She is kind to us, and helps us with thehard words. Do you see the two little girls on thelow seat ? This is their first day inschool. It is all new to them and theyare very still. Do you like our big white caps andcollars ? Do you wear them in yourschool ? I am sure you do not wear woodenshoes like ours. We like our kind ofshoes very much. Review a short, (at); a long, (fate).
