The mountain is surrounded by a wall with huge pedestals with statues of horses at the corners; a fountain is at center front, and above it, on the mount, is Vulcan's forge, with arms scattered about. Aurora in a chariot on clouds above. In the foreground, hay brought in tow ox-drawn carts; figures are standing about a fire. Framing lines. Bottom: "Disegno della Seconda Machina rappresentante il Monte Etna gia rinomato per la favolosa di Vulcano quivi assegnata dal Virgilio. Incendiata...[like -141]...Sicilie S S S la Sera delli 29 Guigno 1767," and similar -141. Signed similar to -141.
