Title
Probable steelyard weight, base
Description
English: A crude cast lead weight, probably from a steelyard. The object is sub-conical in shape and has a flat, circular base. There is a circular perforation seemingly running through the body of the weight, slightly off-centre (it might have housed an iron loop, although no evidence of this remains). Surrounding the perforation in the base is an indentation up to 3.2mm wide. The artefact is very worn and pitted.
